for our 11th anny, my huuusband built me a killer raised garden box with sub irrigation to help conserve water. so far it's had two waterings thru a pipe sticking out on the end. all the veggies are still alive. so far so good. growing: basil thyme zucchini squash eggplant cucumbers pepper garlic chives, chard parsley chives thyme & tarragon

  1. Howdy! Bees should pollinate your zucchini, squash and cukes...unless you're trying to not have bees...other bugs will pollinate as well. Never hurts to thump your maters and hand pollinate if you're not getting good fruit set however. Also, remember that squash/zucchini blossoms stuffed with cheese, battered and fried are sublime. Don't have to wait for the fruit!
